Whether you are trying to lose weight, build muscle, increase endurance or just about any other goal you have in the gym- Myzone can help get you to those goals faster then with a smart watch/wrist tracker alone.
Myzone is more accurate then a wrist tracker because it goes around your chest so it's close to your ❤️. It's much more reliable as well. As you can see in the slides from my workout today, average heartrate was off, current heartrate was off and as a result calorie 🔥 was way off!
Why is it important to track heartrate?
For weight loss, you're probably interested in calories in/calories out. You can't properly track that without knowing exactly how many calories are burnt during your workout.
You also might be interested in doing interval training to burn more calories and increase endurance. If you're going back and forth between high and lower intensities you want to know exactly what zones you're in and for how long in order to maximize your results.
💪For increasing muscle, you don't want to be training at 80%+ of your max HR because then you're burning muscle and wasting your time and hard work weightlifting.
If you're older and/or have heart conditions, you may need to train only at a specific % of your max HR.

Feeling overwhelmed or anxious? Take a minute to control your breathing. Scientific studies show that controlling your breathing can instantly help manage stress.
A common technique is 4-7-8 breathing. To begin, get in a comfortable seated position and place the tip of the tongue on the roof of your mouth.
• Breathe out, emptying your lungs of air
• Breathe in gently through the nose for 4 seconds
• Hold the breath for a count of 7 seconds
• Exhale forcefully through the mouth, pressing the lips and making a “whoosh” sound, for 8 seconds
• Repeat the cycle up to 4 times
