So long, and farewell. The Schieferdecker family has sold the marina. We would like to thank all of our customers, guests, staff, friends, and extended family from over the years. It has been a long run, but our voyage has come to an end. Thank you and stay tuned.....

Happy 4th of July!!!! The boating season is off to a great start, despite Hurricane Arthur. Welcome Huntington Yacht Club. Hope you have a great rendezvous.

Ferry hours from May 23 - September 1
Sun - Thurs: 7:30am - 11:30pm
Fri, Sat, and Holiday Eves: 7:30am - 1:00am

Memorial Day weekend is quickly approaching. Don't let the weather forecasters get you down. Set sail and come enjoy the beautiful Connecticut River and town of Essex.

Happy May 1st. The season has officially started, welcome back to all of our seasonals.

The Ferry hours from May 1 - 21 are:
Sunday - Thursday: 7:30 am - 10:00pm
Friday & Saturday: 7:30 am - 12:00 am

Spring has arrived, despite the snow. The ferry officially started running and the river is on the rise.

Ferry hours of operation: April 15 - 30, 7:30-6:00.

If you are planning to come down to the marina, the river is starting to flood. Please be aware, depending on the severity of the spring flooding, water may be over the road.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!! Ring in the new year by planning your 2014 summer cruise. It's the best way to warm up in the cold and snow.

The ferry hours for the remainder of the season:
Daily 7:30am - 6:00pm, until December 15.

The Essex Board of Trade is holding their "Evening of the Villages" Event tonight at the Deck. Come enjoy food, fun, and a tea cup auction. Tickets available at the door.

Spring is officially here. The ferry started service today. Now thru April 30 the hours of operation are 7:30 am - 6:00 pm.

Happy Veteran's Day. Thank you to all the vets out there, and for everything you do for us!

The ferry will resume service tomorrow, November 1. Hours of operation 7:30 am to 6:00 pm.

The clean up process continues. Ferry service will still be suspended tomorrow, October 31.

WE SURVIVED!!!! :). All the boats made it through. We did sustain some minor dock damage, but all and all faired very well. Let the clean up begin. The ferry is still shut down, will update when ferry service resumes.

The wind is dying down, and the water is receding. Will update again when daylight comes.

All boats secure. The wind is super intense. Now we just wait for the surge to come in. Thanks everyone for keeping us in your thoughts.

Sandy is throwing a lot of rain and wind at us, but after last check everyone is still fairing well.

Storm Update: Just completed a line check. Everyone is riding well. Ferry service has been suspended until further notice. The Town of Essex has shut down Ferry Street. Will continue posting updates throughout storm.
