Hello ELC Family and Friends,

ELC Esports continued our 2026 Fall Season in Super Smash Bros Ultimate in our Week 2 matchup against Okoboji, which was played live at ELC's High School Little Theater.

ELC came out with a mission and took down Okoboji swiftly, 2 games to none.

Game 1: 15-2
Game 2: 15-2

ELC earned themselves a perfect offensive performance sweeping every matchup and earning a maximum 15 points in each round. With shoutouts to Junior, Deyvion Domineck who had a perfect 6 KO and 0 Falls night! This brings our record to 2-0 on the season.

Next week we will play another local rival as we match up against Spirit Lake on Tuesday, September 29th at 4:00 PM.

Hello ELC Family and Friends,

Last week ELC Esports kicked off our 2026 Fall Season of Super Smash Bros Ultimate by beating Nevada 2 games to none!

This week we are excited to announce that for our week 2 matchup we will be playing our local rivals as we invite Okoboji to play live in our Little Theater this Tuesday, September 22nd starting at 5:00 PM.

Anyone who would like to watch our players from across the school and community is welcome! Of course, if you cannot make it in person all of our games are also live-streamed on Facebook and to our ELC Esports Youtube Channel! Hello ELC Family and Friends,

We are so excited to begin our Fall Season of ELC Esports in the year of our Lord 2026!

For the Fall Season we will be completing in the game Super Smash Bros Ultimate. Super Smash Bros is a fighting game series that first launched in 1999 with the Nintendo 64 with Super Smash Bros 64. Since then it has produced 5 main series entries with Super Smash Bros Ultimate being the latest launching in 2018 and has sold 38.14 million copies worldwide alone.

We have attached a schedule for everyone to download to keep track of their favorite ELC Esports squad! We are starting off the year tomorrow! Please stay ready for more quick updates.

Hello ELC Family and Friends!

We are incredibly excited to announce that ELC has won the 2026 Class 2A Mario Kart 8 Deluxe State Championship!

Williamsburg was an excellent opponent that pushed ELC to come together as a full team! This first game ended in a tie at 78-78. In game two ELC muscled our way into a victory 84-72. Then in game three we found ourselves with a 15 point lead headed into race number four and played exceptional in the third lap to take the state championship, 91-65!

Game 1: 78-78 Tie
Game 2: 84-72 W
Game 3: 91-65 W

This makes ELC the back to back State Champs in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe! This team also has a combined record of 20-0 going back to last year! Going back to last year ELC Esports has won three state championships in the last four seasons! An incredible accomplishment in only the second full year of starting the esports program at ELC! Coach Rice could not be more proud of his players for their dedication to the program. They are the reason for this success and we could not ask for more incredible student athletes!

Hey ELC Family and Friends,

ELC defeats division rival North Fayette Valley in the 2nd Round of the State Tournament in a fierce battle that started in a tie in the first game, 78-78. However, ELC rebounded immediately and beat NFV in games two and three.

Game 1: 78-78 T
Game 2: 92-64 W
Game 3: 96-58 W

We are now headed to the Class 2A MK8D State Championship game! Your #1 seeded ELC will face off against #2 seeded Williamsburg! The winner of this matchup will be crowned the Class 2A MK8D State champions!

The game will be played at 5:30 PM today!
