We believe the bicycle is still the most efficient, human-centred form of transportation ever designed. Our guiding belief is simple: a bicycle should amplify your life. It should fit you, reflect you, and be there when you need it wherever you are in the world.
We exist to offer elegant, personal solutions to modern problems: reducing reliance on car culture, supporting healthier lives, and strengthening communities, one thoughtfully built bike at a time.

We are very lucky to have partnered with some of the very best bike shops and businesses around the world. It has always been very important to us that no matter where someone buys their Bike Friday, they have the best experience possible.
Geoffrey Smith, who runs BikePartners.net, really exemplifies this high level of service, offering mobile appointments from Santa Rosa, California. These photos come from a delivery to a happy customer who he recently set up with a Ever-e-Day complete with a front hub E-assist kit.

This 2022 All-Packa is the passion project of Bike Friday employee Leo, who created this custom faded paint scheme that transitions from Tickle Pink into a unique Silver Lavender hammertone powder coat. This color scheme is not ordinarily available, making this bike truly one of a kind.
The bike has been built for riders 4'9"–4'10", with adjustments that make it suitable for riders up to 5'3", depending on handling preferences.
Other details include:
• Easy Pack titanium seatpost
• Standard Arc disc hubs (sealed cartridge bearings)
• Stainless steel spokes
• Tubeless-compatible Promax rims
• Microshift 10-speed (11–36) cassette
• Schwalbe Super Moto X 2.4" tires
• Shimano M375 disc brakes
• SRAM GX 10-speed rear derailleur and GX shifter
• Shimano 105 front derailleur with Microshift R10 front shifter
• 50/34 chainrings
• Red anodized FSA Orbit MX headset
You may recognize it from our shoot last year. Since then, Leo has added matching front and rear racks to the build and is now ready to let it go.
If you’re interested in purchasing this bike, DM us and we’ll connect you with Leo. This would be a private sale, priced at $5k+.

What do you do on a Friday?
One of the unexpected benefits of riding a Bike Friday is how often it becomes a conversation starter.
Whether it's a curious question at a café, a chance encounter on tour, or spotting another Friday rider hundreds of miles from home, these bikes have a way of creating connections.
These archive photos capture a mix of group rides, chance meetings, and moments where riders ended up sharing the road for a while.
If you’ve enjoyed being part of this community, we’d really appreciate your help in spreading the word. Leaving us a Google review about your experience as a Bike Friday rider makes a real difference, and so does introducing a friend or riding partner to the brand. Both help more people find their way into the community.

Last year, we heard from Maya and Gili who, along with their kids and trusty Haul-a-Day “Big Bird,” have truly adopted cycling into their family life by exploring the world by bike.
Well, we are pleased to say they are back with another trip report on their adventure blog, “Life in MAGIc Land,” recounting a recent trip to Cuba.
For those of you who have been considering taking your kids along on your next two-wheeled adventure, their blog offers an honest perspective on what it’s really like — from pre-trip worries, bikes getting lost in transit, power shortages, and hurricane aftermaths, to all the other challenges they faced. But she also captures the warmth of the Cuban people, the quiet roads, the beautiful simple moments, and how a positive mindset helped them roll with whatever came their way.
It’s a genuine and relatable read for anyone who’s ever considered a family bike trip beyond the usual routes.

Another set of photos from a happy customer. This time from Steve H., who received his new All-Packa in April and has already put it to good use, traveling through the South of France and exploring the lush, pleasant countryside around his home in Wales.
Steve opted for our reliable and cost-effective base build featuring a 1x9 drivetrain with a narrow-wide chainring up front, Packalope handlebars for easier packing, and added an airline checkable suitcase to safely transport by plane wherever he may go. The paint scheme he chose was our Racing Green, which might not be overly apparent in the photos, but in person it really comes to life.
