COURTNEY SCHOOLCRAFT SARCOMA AWARENESS GAMEDAY!!! We had another great weekend of softball at Deaconess Evansville Sports Park!! We had 11 colleges come out and play Friday evening and Saturday. Tournament play started Saturday for the 16u and 18u traveling teams!!! Money was raised per gate collected!! We want to thank Evansville Sports Complex management, crew, and field crews for an awesome weekend. Thank you to all the College's and their wonderful fans that came out to support our event. Thank you to all the traveling teams, coaches, and fans that came out to support our event. Thank you to our One After Seven Events And Training, LLC staff and to all our wonderful umpires that helped to officiate the College games and the travel softball games!! You all are very key to the success of our events. Another great Labor Day Team Camp pulled off by the skin of our teeth due to Mother Nature Saturday with lightning and rain. 1 After 7 and Columbus Park and Recreations worked hard to try and get us back on the fields Saturday but Mother Nature won the battle Saturday. We were able to get a full day of softball Sunday to salvage some great softball Sunday with some very exciting brackets games with the top 2 teams in each po going on to play a single elimination bracket.
Thank you to Lincoln Park staff and grounds crew for all your assistance and getting the fields ready to play Sunday! Thank you to all the 1 After 7 staff and volunteers for your assistance to pull off a great event. Thank you to all the umpires that made this weekend a success and weathered the weather with us!! Thank you to all the teams, athletes, and parents that supported the tournament this weekend. I know it was frustrating and crazy but we are just happy the girls got to play so.e softball. The game they love to play! Thank you for the College Coaches out recruiting this weekend and the ones recruiting watching the live streams of the games !! We appreciate you all for helping to make our events a success!!
