We started fall training this week. The dogs are happy to run!

While a few older dogs and puppies stayed at home for the summer, the rest have been enjoying time on the Norris Glacier with .907 ! Featuring new puppy Pia!

Happy Mother’s Day to Juneau and Blossom! Juneau was the mom to the Mythical creatures litter. They are nearing retirement but have been an integral part of the kennel over the last 9 years. This past winter they all helped teach Blossom’s bird puppies how to become awesome sled dogs!

Rosa! She’s a long limbed goofy gal that loves everyone. She can run anywhere in the team and is a favorite to run the JNAC sprint races with Hazel and Salix. She’s also great at skijoring and helped Hazel and Iris win the solstice relay this year!

Hazel and Iris raced in the .t.dog.alaska this weekend! Iris won the T-Dog 50 skijoring with Merlin and Jelly, and Hazel got 5th (and the Vet’s Choice award!!) in the T-Dog 100. Hazel ran Rosa, Marten, Sassy, Dirty, Gryphon, Ferrah, June, Prince, and Elmer. Thank you .h.photo for the amazing pictures!
