We are thrilled to share that our very own Fairfax Little League Softball 9-11 All-Star team has advanced to the Semi-Finals of the Virginia State 9-11 Softball Tournament! The team will play for a spot in the state championship game tomorrow (July 8th) at 9 AM in Yorktown, VA. Follow the game via GameChanger by searching for "D10 - Fairfax".

This is a huge accomplishment for Fairfax Little League and its brand new Little League Softball program. We wanted to share this exciting news with you and hope that you can follow the game tomorrow on GameChanger or even make the trip to Yorktown.

There’s something about a softball girl.

She’s sunburned, sweat-soaked, and covered in dirt—and still, she shows up. Game after game. Pitch after pitch. She pulls on her mask and puts on her glove and digs in. She’s gritty. She’s tough. And when it’s all on the line, she wants the ball. She wants the play. She wants to be up to bat.

You can see it in her eyes: she’s a powerhouse in a ponytail, all heart and hustle. She’s raised on dirt and diamonds, and win or lose, she shows up for her team.
