With deep sadness…
Grandmaster West, “The Chief”, passed away yesterday afternoon.
He became my hapkido instructor, inspiration and friend in the 90’s.
RIP Chief. lost but never forgotten.

Happy holidays to all the holiday Hapkido class schedule is as follows: NO Hapkido class Wednesday, December 24th and Friday December 26th for Christmas. NO Hapkido class Wednesday December 31st and Friday January 2nd for New Year's.

Happy Halloween, No Hapkido class tonight. Be safe and have fun this weekend.

For medical reasons, I am not able to promote Master Kettner in person at this time. But that doesn’t make it any less important.

It is my duty, privilege and honor to promote my most senior and dedicated student, a Sub Navy Veteran, Master Kevin Kettner, to the rank of 5th dan in hapkido. Thank you for all you do and for your service my friend.
