Luna is a 10,250 sq/ft. fitness coaching facility equipped with men’s and women’s locker rooms and a designated kid’s area, located near Las Colinas, Dallas, Valley Ranch, and Farmers Branch. We offer group, semi-private and individual coaching. Our workouts are comprised of constantly varied functional movements (like pushing, pulling, squatting, lifting, running) in a manner designed to help you achieve your fitness goals. We began CrossFit Luna with a simple mission: to make our clients “fit beyond expectation.”

CrossFit Luna 6 week nutrition challenge gets great results when you put in the work and it pays! Here are a few of our most recent winners from the previous 6 week challenge. We have 3 categories: total body weight lost, muscle gained, or body fat lost. Results vary.

Posted @withrepost • @alexqmaclin Ya know when you’re super-strict during the week only to go completely ape-sh*t on all the “bad food” on the weekends. Then Monday hits and all the guilt and remorse creeps in so you vow to “be even stricter” only to rinse & repeat next weekend.⁣⁣

We’ve all been there. Literally was the story of my life until I learned a few strategies to kick the weekend overeating for good that I share below:⁣⁣

PREPARE SOME HEALTHY FOOD FOR THE WEEKEND⁣⁣
Hit up the grocery store, prep a little food or get some premade meals to hold you down over the weekend⁣

CREATE SOME STRUCTURE⁣⁣
Winging it usually doesn’t work. Create some weekend structure to keep you from going rogue. Ex: stick to your meal times, schedule workouts or continue your log most of your food⁣

PRACTICE A HABIT⁣⁣
Choose one #basicAFnutrition habit to focus on. It could be as simple as eating veggies at each meal. Make it stupid easy so you have no excuse and can rack up an easy win⁣⁣

DITCH THE “CHEAT”⁣⁣
Perhaps your super-strictness during the week is exactly why you want to cheat on the weekends. Lean into being more flexible during the week and depriving yourself less. If that’s scary, hire a coach to help you make that transition⁣

DIG FOR THE REAL REASON YOU’RE OVEREATING⁣⁣
If you’re going to stop weekend overeating for good, you need to understand WHY it’s happening. The overeating is a symptom of a larger problem. Maybe your diet is too restrictive, you’re lonely, or you need to hang out with different folks. You need be honest with yourself and find the root cause of your overeating⁣

TAKE OWNERSHIP⁣⁣
We’re all grown ass adults. We make all of our choices. Stop blaming and deferring responsibility for your actions and take ownership instead. That’s the only way you’ll change your behavior. Empower yourself by letting your values and priorities guide your decisions rather than making excuses⁣

Most importantly, if you manage to “mess up”, don’t beat yourself up over it. Just pick right back up where you left off ASAP, keep working the process or get some outside help and you will be successful.⁣

Athletes & judges briefing at 5:15pm.

Heat 1 will start at 5:25pm. First come first serve. Heat 2 will open up as soon as heat 1 is filled with both judge and athletes and we will move forward from there.

Also this a friendly tap on the shoulder to fuel up on a pre workout snack. A cup of fruit, Gatorade, or easily digestible nutritious carb and light protein.
