Kind of a busy TBT. I was digging around some boxes when I came across this old Ge**er LMF. I bought in August 1989 for selection in Nov-Dec ‘89. Actually it was SFOT at the time. Brought back some memories! Picked up a few things since. Custom knives from Level III knives, custom Randall, Spartan Blades, custom job from Indonesia with mango handle. WWI trench knife that a friend made the blade for while I was at SWC. The Benchmade auto I carried to Iraq a couple times. A custom Elk handle from Alaska… never got my Yarborough knife and I’m a bit pissy- gotta go do that.

I’ve been getting Tyler Holman knives for years. In fact, I may have one of the best collections of his work. But this one is amazing. The custom sheath is a perfect fit. Maybe the best duo I have.

Testing out this cool, very durable French Press from Bru Trek. Something I would have loved to have had back when I went to the field etc. I used 55 grams of coarsely ground coffee to 1 liter of water.
