Very few are willing to put in the work and discipline to get it done. Everyone has excuses. I’m living proof that excuses are nothing but bull s**t people believe to keep themselves from doing the hard work. Most of us take the path of least resistance. But I decided to take the path of most resistance to achieve something I wanted to accomplish. I brought my own food so that I stayed on task at parties. I've left early so you could get adequate rest needed and be ready to kick ass the next day. I’ve decided that I needed a change. It does take time and sacrifice but in the end it’s all worth it!

Yesterday was a great day although disappointing in the outcome it’s only a start. This was my first figure show and brought the best package I could in a short time frame. I have very high expectations for myself and I never want to let people down and I felt like I did. This sport is very humbling though and I love drive it gives me day in and day out. However I need a break. I have been so called dieting for the past year and never really took off from last year to this year. I am not done and I will let my self grow like I need to in the off season so my next show I can bring a better package. I am excited for the future and very grateful for the people in my corner. thank you for being my rock and supporter through all this. thank you thank you thank you! You have really opened my eyes and see potential and can’t wait to see what package we bring next! thank you for being there and help me get on stage! girl you rock! Words can’t express how much our friendship means to me and being my glam squad! thank you for making the best suit ever! I got so many compliments on it and can’t wait to rock a different version of it next! girl you saved me yesterday and thank you for getting me into this sport and our friendship

Some days I get frustrated as I don’t think I’m progressing as much as I should be. Going from bikini to figure has not been an easy process but looking back at some old pictures I say that I has progressed more than I know!

I have been on that diet train 🚊 so many times that I’ve probably have gone around the world and then some! There are two things that have helped me keep during this process was accountability and consistency. When I first started losing weight I had a friend that I helped me through it. she was a coworker of mine so I saw her everyday so she held me accountable to my diet. Then there is consistency. If you look at MFP you can see I eat the same thing pretty much everyday. Even when my macros change sometimes weekly I adjust accordingly. Back then I thought I was “heathy” because I worked out daily but my food and portion control was not healthy. Don’t get me wrong I do enjoy carrot cake and a good cheeseburger 🍔 but now it’s only in moderation. I stick to my macros daily and meal prep weekly sometimes daily. When you have goals and dreams it’s easier to make those sacrifices. And to be honest I crave more of my meals than those cheat meals!

I have used spices for the longest time but was skeptical of purchasing their new line of rise and zen are a game changer. I have a lot of stress and anxiety with my job and this helps level it out. Also my husband started taking it and said to me we need this to have in stock always!

Try this ab workout next time your in the gym. I did a variation of EMOM instead on every minute i did every 30 seconds. Repeat 3x for a total of 7:30 minutes.
