Zoomies are in full swing here at Green Mountain Farms! While the dogs love to run and play, we make sure everyone stays cool with plenty of breaks in the A/C, fresh mountain spring water, and lots of shade. One of the perks of our unique farm-based boarding retreat is that the fun doesn't stop when the sun goes down—we enjoy evening play sessions after dark, too! 🐾🌙

Hi! I'm Alison, owner of Green Mountain Farms Dog Boarding Retreat, located on our peaceful horse farm in the mountains of Fletcher, NC.

I started Green Mountain Farms in 2020 with a simple goal: to provide a safe, comfortable, and fun home-away-from-home where dogs are treated like family.

As a lifelong animal lover and pet parent myself, I understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your furry family members.

Every dog receives personalized care, daily enrichment, and plenty of love and attention while staying with us.

There’s something magical about spring on the farm. Fresh green grass underfoot, wildflowers beginning to bloom, and the quiet hum of new life everywhere you look. Dogs play freely in the sunshine, horses graze contentedly, and chickens wander through it all, soaking up the season. It’s a place where happiness feels natural—uncomplicated, joyful, and alive.
