Stacy Rockwell founded Shades by Thermal Guard in 2019, offering custom exterior motorized solar screens and custom wooden shutters in the DFW Metroplex. Locally we love our custom homes, but many people don’t realize a custom home comes with custom windows and custom patios that often aren’t basic. I love sitting down with homeowners and helping them pick materials, colors, and designs to find the perfect solution for their home. We handle everything from vision to installation. Our adjustable motorized screens enclose and transform any outdoor space with the push of a button, making your patio, porch, balcony, or gazebo the ideal summer relaxation spot. Our wood shutters are made exclusively of solid basswood, hand-selected, and patiently kiln- dried to reduce the wood’s expansion and contraction due to weather.
