Southeast Regionals was a success! Was able to make weight for the 90kg class and took 4th place! Missed tying with for 3rd by 2 freaking points and the tie breaker was a farmer hold for time, which I'm really good at.

•Took 3rd on the log clean and press with 255 and was way closer than I thought with the 275, which would have tied me for 2nd in the event
•3rd on deadlift by managing to bust out 1 rep on the 565lb deadlift. THAT'S A 40lb PR!!! Incredibly freaking stoked about that.
•2nd on the yoke and farmers (missed 1st by .6seconds)
•3rd on the death medley
•Tied for 2nd on the keg over bar (missed tying for 1st by 1 rep)

Big shout out to and for putting on a great competition at the

Naturally have to send a big thanks to the one and only world's greatest athlete video narrator and to all the family that came to watch me compete.

Was a pleasure competing with such a great group and getting to witness set the new Stronman Corp Open circus dumbbell record of 281lbs and with the new u90kg record of 201lbs! Great work gents!

Now for the final push to Nationals June 6th!

Huge shout out to and a few others for giving me some critiques on my deadlift. Been focusing on my axle deadlift a lot lately along with different variations breaking down the lift, and they have definitely helped! Set a new lifetime PR yesterday with 525lbs WITHOUT STRAPS!!! my pre-injury lifetime PR was 515 WITH straps. Grip strength is clearly exploding too! Can't wait to see what happens come April 11th. Really hoping to be able to at least get 1 rep at 605lbs on the deadlift bar at Southeast Regionals. The 545lb axle deadlift for reps at Nationals June 6th is looking a lot more promising!

Videos show 485, 505, and 525lbs all strapless!

Tried to embrace my inner with these axle deads. I think I've figured out his secrete! Afro beats are definitely the music to workout to, s**t gets you moving for sure! Does make it a little hard to focus on actually doing the lift though.

435lbs for 2 on ~1" deficit on the axle.

Got my pictures back from Natural USA's Strongest and they look great! Huge shout-out to &  for the awesome pics!

Really wish I could go back up for an attempt at redemption at the but it's the same day as Nationals

I know the things I need to work on and I'm giving it my best! Looking forward to my upcoming comps in April ( Southeast Regionals) and June ( Nationals).

Was supposed to just work on some accessories today but decided to give the circus dumbell a go after seeing throw my bodyweight + around like a balled up piece of paper. Seriously, bros a beast.
Haven't done CDB in a WHILE, so I'm really proud of today's results.
Worked my way up from just the empty bell (75lbs) to my old PR of 125lbs and it felt pretty good, so I decided to go for 135 and it felt EASY!
Tried going for 145 but it just wasn't there. I was getting fatigued and wasn't dropping under it.

Followed that up with the accessory work I was supposed to be doing, starting with some sandbag rows with:
200lbs for 10
250lbs for 10
And 300lbs for 3 and 2 pulls to the lap
Followed it up with some core work and called it a day.

On to the next one!

Working on what has probably been my biggest weakness, deadlift. It cost me some serious points at nationals having to take a zero.

I've got a loooong way to improve to hit the 605 deadlift for reps (even just once) at Southeast Regionals April 11th.

Anybody got any tips???
This was 380lbs for 2x 5 and 385lbs for 3x 5 both at about RPE 7.

Well ladies and gents, Natural USA's Strongest didn't go quite as planned, but I placed higher than last! (No offense James). 13th out of 16 was much lower than I had hoped for, but that was definitely a killer crew to go up against and those sandbags were something else! Tried cutting down to the 90kg class and missed it by .8kg and didn't have the energy to cut the rest after 13+hrs of driving to NJ.

•240lb Axle Clean and Press- 6th place with 4 reps
•Deadlift ladder (545, 585, 635)- zeroed, (along with 3 others), which I expected since the first bar was 30lbs over my pre-injury max, which I couldn't hit during prep.
•280lb/ hand Farmer hold- 9th place with 40:03sec •Sandbag to shoulder (250, 275, 300)- 6 way tie for 4th- only got the first bag. Extremely disapointed with this one since I know I can hit all three for reps but those bags were massive and the bottoms being wet made them incredibly hard to hold.
•725lb Yoke- 7th place with 70ft in 16:59sec
•275lb Sandbag for distance- 4th with 186.89ft

I know what I need to work on and definitely will be back next year!

Huge shout-out to and the crew for putting on an awesome comp and keeping things rolling fast but smooth!

Also gotta give some props to for putting up with me during the 2 day drive from Georgia to New Jersey while I was on a cut and for supporting me on my journey.

Now to start the prep for Southeast Regionals April 11th and Nationals June 6th!

See y'all on the comp floor!

Yoke hasn't felt this good in a LONG time!
Worked my way through 538, 578, 608, 638, 678, and set a new post neck/upper back injury PR of 718lbs for two sets of 50ft! Old PR was only 750 and comp weight is 725, so not far off!
Finished up with a 819lb hold for 8 seconds!

After extensive consideration and deliberation, effective close of business Friday, December 19th, I decided to put a temporary hold on training clients to focus on spending time with my family for the holidays and dedicating time to my own training and mental health. Any sessions or programs that have been paid for will be put on hold and will resume when I return from Natural Strongman Nationals on January 20th. Feel free to reach out to me with any questions and concerns. I apologize for any inconvenience.

Been a little busy lately and haven't really been recording much. Decided to try out some Dinnie ring picks since I haven't done them in a while. Started with an easy 200lbs each for two picks and worked my way up to 320 on the smaller ring and 360lbs on the larger ring for a combined 680lbs for two. Can't wait to give the actual Dinnie stones a try one of these days! Not too far off from the 414.5/318.5lb stones!
