Captain Delbert Woelfel here , Friday August 8th I went out solo once again on beautiful Big Green Lake and went to the weeds looking for active fish with weighted slip bobbers using leeches and red worms. The fish seems to be more scattered out but did put some in the boat!! All fish today were released . Did also catch bluegills as well !! Captain Delbert Woelfel here , Saturday August 2nd my afternoon trip , I had the pleasure of meeting and fishing with Edward and Elizabeth . We went right to work casting out weighted slip bobbers with leeches and red worms and it didn't take long and the bobbers were going down !! We worked depths of 12 to 16 feet in weedy areas of Big Green Lake. Not only did we catch some small perch , a catfish and two walleyes which one was just shy of that 15 inch mark .

Captain Delbert Woelfel here,, Saturday August 2rd I had Greg , Justin , Jackson, Easton and myself out on Big Green Lake once again. It was kind of a slow early morning bite. So we switched tactics and went after the bluegills and bass. We did catch nice bluegills which we released all of them and shortly before the trip ended Justin connected with this beautiful large mouthbass which measured in at 18 inches well done Justin , never give up because the next cast might be the one we were again using weighted slip bobbers with leeches and red worms .Thank you Justin and your crew for a fantastic weekend on the beautiful Big Green Lake!! Hello folks Captain Delbert Woelfel here , Friday August 1st we Eric , Justin , Jackson , Easton and myself headed out onto Big Green Lake . We worked varies depths in weedy areas with weighted slip bobbers with leeches and red worms .With about 35 minutes left in the trip we decided to try and troll and Jackson connected with his personal best fish to date , a beautiful 25 inch walleye that topped the scale at 5 1/2 pounds we took photos and left her swim for another person to catch .

Captain Delbert Woelfel here , Sunday I had the privilege to take out the winner of the trip that I donated for a auction for Habit for Humanity !! We started out the trip at 11 am under burtal conditions with extreme heat and flat clam conditions !! That didn't stop Autumn , Levi and Brad from putting some fish in the boat!! We went from hump to hump throwing Thill slip bobbers out with leeches and crawlers , also caught some fish on Charlie Brewer Slider grubs on pearl/chartreuse tail , again I would like to thank all the folks at slider for 25 amazing years and the great products they put out to help me and others put fish in the boat!! Also we would have not put those fish in the boat if not for Garmin livescope , thanks garmin for making such fine products to help me and others to put fish in the boat !! We did miss alot of fish that would just not put the bait away !! It was a fun trip to say the least watching Brad's 6 and 9 year old reeling in some fish , thanks again Autumn, Levi and Brad for a fun day under extreme heat !!!

Captain Delbert Woelfel here , I went out today on a solo trip for the group O will be taking out tomorrow !! Didn't take long to find them and they were chewing!!

Captain Delbert Woelfel here , I was out yesterday morning on a solo trip looking for spots for a trip that I will be doing on Sunday . I did not fish the spots long but did catch a couple for the pan !!!

Was out solo today looking for fish for a few trips coming up and I decided to keep this small mouth bass to see how God they are out of big green lake !!

Captain Delbert Woelfel here , so last Saturday my son and I headed to little bay de noc for the MWC tournament and it was a tough pre-fish with all the wind up there . My son got his personal best walleye on Tuesday while we were pre-fishing a gaint walleye at 31 inches long it's was over 11 pounds . That was a money fish for sure had he caught that Friday or Saturday !! We ended up Friday with 2 fish which were under 23 with the slot up there . Saturday we caught alot of fish but were to shorts , but we did get one over which was 23 1/4 and a quarter . Not the finish we were hoping for but it was a tough bite with 36 teams getting at least a zero one of the two days . Great full for what we caught under a tough bite!! We were using Flicker minnows number 9's on a 8'6 guide series trolling rods , Daiwa SG27LC line counter reels , 12 pound Cabela's ProLine LO Visibility Green which I been using for many years and off shore trolling planer boards which that 31 incher buried the board !! She was released to swim another day !!

Was out yesterday solo and did manage to put 2 in the box trolling shallow water !!
