Good weekend of baseball for the DirtBagz, even if the weather cut Saturday short.

We were up 8-2 on a team out of Gastonia when the rain ended it. Zeke was dealing with 5 strikeouts through 2 innings, and Landon drove in our first 2 RBIs of the 9U season.

Sunday, we jumped out 8-0 in the first against Lake Wylie and finished off a 13-5 win behind a strong outing from Dutch, who received game MVP.

We came up short in the championship against the Hooligans out of Mount Holly, 11-2.

A 1-1 finish with one washed out. Back at it weekend after next!

Rained out! Up 8-2 and rolling when it came. Zeke Rumfelt with 5 K's through 2.

Game 2 against the Hooligans was canceled.

Back at it tomorrow bright and early at Bradford Park against Lake Wylie!

Roco Dirtbagz 8U are CHAMPIONS! ⚾️🏆

What a weekend for our boys as they battled their way to a tournament title, finishing with a 3-1 overall record and outscoring their opponents 49-31. They saved their best for last, taking home the championship with a 12-5 win in the title game.

We are so proud of the way these kids competed, supported each other, and represented the Dirtbagz family all weekend long.

Huge thank you to our coaches, parents, and fans for the energy and support from the first pitch to the final out. Drop your favorite pictures from the weekend in the comments and help us congratulate these boys on a hard fought USSSA Baseball, Greater Charlotte/Midlands tournament win!

💥 ROCO DIRTBAGZ 8U: FALL SEASON KNOCKOUT! 💥
What a debut fall season for the DirtBagz!

These boys absolutely exceeded expectations in their first fall travel ball season, finishing with an incredible 15 WINS and just 4 LOSSES! 🏆⚾️

But we can't talk about this team without mentioning the POWER! Our 8U squad mashed a mind-blowing 30 HOME RUNS this season! 🤯 That’s hustle, heart, and a whole lot of dingers! 💣

We are so proud of the grit and dedication shown by every player. Thank you to all the families and fans for the support!

Now, the work doesn't stop! We are heading into some winter training to level up our skills, get stronger, and prepare for an even BIGGER Spring season! 💪🗓️
