It’s been a while since I’ve posted to my golf page. The VES golf program has dominated my spring. It was worth it. We won the BRAC Championship as well as the VISAA State Championship. I will resume teaching golf at Poplar Forest GC Monday 5/22/23. Message or call for appointments.

This video is from a lesson I was giving this morning with Ean Sprinkle. I’ve been working with him for about 18 months. When we started working he was a 15 handicap now he’s plus 2 and arguably the best high school player in our area. Ball position is important when controlling the low point.

Junior Golf Academy at Poplar Forest Golf Course

The Junior Golf Academy at Poplar Forest GC is the perfect place to learn the fundamentals of golf. The Junior Golf Academy is taught by David Eubank, an instructor, and the head golf coach at Virginia Episcopal School. This program is designed to build a foundation for kids new to the game of golf. From beginners to advanced juniors, this program will provide your junior golfer with a strong base that will allow them to grow within the game.

This Academy focuses on:
Full Swing Fundamentals
Putting
Chipping
On-Course Experience
Rules & Etiquette

The Junior Golf Academy will be held at Poplar Forest Golf Course on Thursdays beginning September 15, 2022 from 6:00 to 7:00.
The cost is $20 per player per session
