⚾️ Vanguard Travel Baseball Open Practices ⚾️

Virginia Vanguard is looking for players for our 13U and 14U teams for the 2026–2027 season!

We do things a little differently.

Instead of holding one single tryout where a player has one day to perform under pressure, we offer multiple open practices. We believe this gives us a better opportunity to get to know each player - how he practices, how he competes, how he responds to coaching, his attitude, his work ethic, and his overall skill set.

It also gives players multiple opportunities to showcase their ability and see what Virginia Vanguard is all about.

We are looking for athletes and families who value:

⚾ Respect for the game

If your player is interested in being part of a successful travel ball organization focused on both player development and character development, we would love to see him at one of our open practices.

Reminder! Virginia Vanguard open practices are happening on Sundays from 4–6 PM at Madison Heights Baseball Fields.

We are looking for players for our 2026–2027 season for both 13U and 14U teams. If your player is looking for a competitive travel baseball organization focused on development, character, leadership, and hard work, we would love to have them come out.

⚾ Virginia Vanguard Open Practices ⚾

Virginia Vanguard is inviting rising 13U and 14U players to join us for open practices on Sundays from 2–4 PM at Madison Heights Baseball Fields.

This is a great opportunity for players interested in being part of the Virginia Vanguard program to get on the field, meet the coaches, and learn more about our team culture as we prepare for the 2026–2027 season. It’s also a great way for players to get extra reps and continue developing their skills over the summer in a competitive and positive environment.

Official tryouts for the 2026–2027 season will take place in August.

Please note: Practice is dependent on field playability, especially after all the rain we’ve had. We will communicate any updates or cancellations as needed.
