A little class time on this busy Saturday. Getting the girls more proficient with their polo wrapping skills.
Thank god for good patient horses that fall asleep on crossties while the learn and have legs wrapped and re-wrapped 🤣❤️

Happy Mother’s Day from all of us at Cedar Creek Equestrian Center ❤️❤️
Today we celebrate the women who wear a hundred different hats — mothers, horsewomen, caretakers, supporters, teachers, and the quiet strength behind so many dreams.
Whether they’re feeding horses before loading them in the trailer, hauling to horse shows before sunrise, cheering from the in gate, feeding horses in the rain, giving last minute words of encouragement before your round, or simply loving unconditionally, horse moms are truly built different.
To every mother spending her day in the saddle, at the barn taking care of the animals she loves, or surrounded by the people we see you and appreciate you ❤️❤️
Wishing all the moms in our lives a very happy and special Mother’s Day; Because behind every successful rider is a mom who always believed that they could (or a Mimi who gives the world to watch the next generation succeed)

A little late but this past Friday was field trip Friday!!
We took some of the girls and the horses out for a cross country school at the horse park. Cayden aboard Snickers (Meet me at Midnight), Ionna aboard Wizard (Whistling Teton), McKenna and Promise (Promise IllGetYou) and Emma aboard Ducati (The Mighty Duc). We jumped all the things; ditches, barns, coops, logs and played in some water.
Now a few weeks off before we head back out again!

Another Sunday another horse show ❤️
Thank you Garden Grove Horse Shows for another spectacular day. I’m so proud of all these kids and the hard work that they have put in. (They made these back to back weekends unforgettable)

Second horse show down for our 2026 season and these girls did not disappoint!
Another cold, rainy day but CJL ran a great show held at the beautiful Ketcham farms!!
First we had Cayden aboard Meet me at Midnight in the opportunity hunters 2ft. For their debut together, and snickers second off property horse show with us they came home with a 2, 3, 4 over fences and a 3rd in the hack.
Then we had Patricia aboard Lulus in Charge in the opportunity 2’3” hunters. For their first show together, and their first show of the season they came and really shined. They received a 6th, 2nd and 4th over fences and a 5th in the hack.
Payton aboard Meet me at Midnight was also in the opportunity 2’3” for Payton’s first show back in over a year and her first show on snickers. They laid down beautiful trips bringing home 2nd, 1st, 2nd over fences and a 4th in the hack earning them Reserve Champion!
These girls work hard every day and I am so proud of them. Onto the next one 😉

What a way to start off our show season! It was cold, windy and at some moments a little more than just mist. But these girls did anything less than disappoint 😍 Garden Grove Horse Shows thank you for running a quick (and it was quick) smoothly running show!
We had Melina (her first horse show!!) aboard Shezablazinmachine first in the ring. She showed the beginner hunters and out of a skilled group of seasoned riders she came out with a 2,2,3 and a fourth.
Following we had Emma aboard her horse The Mighty Duc debuting the first time in the 2’3”. We have our homework but I am so proud of all the work Emma put in over the winter to get Ducati ready for these bigger jumps. She came home with a 2, 3, 3, and 3. We then went in to school the 2’6” and they really shined. A move up is in the future 😉
Next we had both Kat aboard Shezablazinmachine and Maddie aboard Captain Morgan in the hopeful hunters. Both girls have been working hard since last show season and it showed! They impressively tied for grand but the deciding factor was who won the 3rd over fences class! So Maddie and Captain Morgan were champion and Kat and Shezablazinmachine were Reserve Champion.
Last but certainly not least we had Lilly aboard Prince Charming. I have to say these two have made such a come back together these last few weeks and really molded into each other. Out of a tough group in the short stirrup eq Lilly and Prince came home with a 2nd, 4th, 5th and a 5th.
To say I’m proud is an understatement! Cheers to the start of a successful season with so many personal gains and we are onto the next one 😉
