💜 U14 Bracket Play Update 🏐

Our 14s battled all day and finished 2nd in their bracket! It was a full day of highs and lows, but this team showed grit, growth, and heart every step of the way. We could not be more proud of this young group and the improvement they’ve shown all season long. The future is bright for these Dogies 💜

💜 Volleyfest Day 1 Recap – Pool Play 🏐

The Lady Dogies fought hard all day and showed some of their best volleyball yet! From strong rallies to a huge 12-point comeback, this team kept competing every step of the way.

They pushed their opponents to 3 sets in 2 of their 3 matches, showing growth in resilience, teamwork, and communication throughout the day. So proud of how they battled! 💪💜

This past weekend, the 10 and 12U teams competed in their last tournament of the AAU season. For the 10U team, it was their first official tournament! These girls showed so much ambition and heart throughout the day and we are so proud of their efforts!

🏐12-3 team received their first serve from Joliet in pool play. The Dogies faced older, more experienced teams and never gave up. Despite losing to their first two opponents, Joliet and Columbus, the girls went into their third match-up against the Rosebud Rebels with enthusiasm and won their first match, but lost the second. That win was just what the girls needed to boost morale and give them the confidence they needed going into bracket play.

In bracket play, their first match-up put them against the Dogie 12-2 team. It was anyone’s game and the girls went in with enthusiasm and confidence, but came up short, in the end. Despite the loss, the girls came out with smiles and were ready to cheer on their fellow teammates in the championship.

🏐 12-2 Team: After a tough start to the day, the girls found their rhythm late in pool play action. They headed into bracket play with the goal of focusing on their serves and communicating with their teammates out on the floor. They finished bracket play in first taking home the Bronze medal!

All of the coaches want to thank these ladies for a wonderful AAU season. The growth they have shown has been exciting to watch!

So proud of the effort and improvement we saw during our scrimmage against Custer/Hysham. The girls continue to grow each time they step on the court, and it’s showing in their confidence, teamwork, and willingness to compete!

Thank you to all of our parents and supporters who made the trip and brought the energy from the stands—we appreciate you! 💜

And a big thank you to Custer/Hysham for hosting us. Opportunities like this are so valuable—collaborating communities make these experiences possible for our athletes.

April 17th – Travel to Custer for a scrimmage 💪

April 25th – BOTH 10s & 12s teams hit the Coal Digger Tournament 🏆✨ This will be the final event of their AAU season—finish strong and leave it all on the court!

The grind continues! Our 14s are putting in the work every practice as they prepare for their final tournament:📍 May 2–3 – Big Sky VolleyFest

🏟️ Big Sky VolleyFest 2026 is HUGE:• 43 total courts across the region• Hosted at venues including Metra EXPO (14 courts), MSU-Billings, Rocky, West High, Senior High, Laurel, Lockwood, and more• This is an AAU Super Regional Event 💥• 🥇 Winners in each age division earn a FREE entry into an AAU National Event!

💜 Dogie Volleyball Tournament Recap 🏐

We had three teams in action this weekend, and we couldn’t be more proud of the growth, effort, and heart shown across the board!

🏐 U14 – Huntley
This group battled through some close matches and never gave up. We’re continuing to build new skills that take time and reps, but there were so many strong moments throughout the day. The effort and determination they showed is exactly what we want to see—keep building, girls!

🏐 U12-2 – Wild West Showdown
The focus for the day was attacking, passing form, and serves that count—and these girls delivered! As the day went on, they really started to own the net, attacking and confidently sending the ball back over. They stayed tough, played together, and finished the day taking 1st place in their bracket! 💪💜

🏐 U12-3 – Wild West Showdown
This group came in focused on serves, moving their feet, and keeping the ball alive—and they improved so much as the day went on! They’re learning transitions on and off the net and what tournament play is all about. They finished the day with their highest score yet, which says everything about their growth and grit!

A big thank you to all of our parents and supporters who showed up and cheered from the stands—we hear you, and the girls feel it on the court! 💜
