Drop in Gymnastics is a new program for people to come and work on skills on Sunday. Pre-registration is strongly recommended


Space in our gymnastics classes can fill quickly, so we encourage families to register when enrollment opens Friday morning.

Whether your child is trying gymnastics for the first time or returning for another session, we’re excited to welcome everyone back to Local Motion Studios for another great session of learning, movement, confidence, and FUN!

Registration opens OCTOBER 1ST for MCRPD’s Coast Youth Basketball League for 3rd–8th grade boys & girls!

We’re excited for another season of basketball on the Mendocino Coast! Whether your player is picking up a basketball for the first time or has been playing for years, CYBL is about learning the game, competing, building confidence, making friendships, and developing a love for basketball. ❤️🏀

As an official Jr. NBA/Jr. WNBA League, we’re continuing to grow our local basketball program and create a pathway for young athletes to develop their skills and keep playing as they get older.

🏀 Registration Is OPEN! Coast Youth Basketball League K–2nd Grade
(THIS IS JUST FOR K2 DIVISION ONLY- the other divisions will be starting in January 2027)

COAST YOUTH BASKETBALL!!!

We are excited to officially open registration for our 2026 Coast Youth Basketball League K–2nd Grade season! This year, our youngest players are getting their own fall season, giving them more focused court time, instruction, and an opportunity to learn the game alongside kids their own age.

Whether your child has played basketball before or is picking up a ball for the very first time, CYBL is about learning, playing, building confidence, making friends, and having FUN!

🏀 KINDERGARTEN–2ND GRADE • COED

EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION: $175
September 14 – October 1

After October 1, registration increases to $200, so register early and save!

Season Details:
• First Practice: November 2, 2026
• Games: Saturdays, November 7–December 19
• No games November 28 for Thanksgiving weekend
• Two practices each week
• 5 weekend games
• Basketball skills clinic
• Season-ending tournament + awards
• Jr. NBA uniform included!

And we want basketball to be accessible to ALL Coast families:

We are also looking for positive adults who would like to coach and make a difference for our youngest players. You don't have to be a basketball expert to help create a great experience—we want coaches who are encouraging, dependable, and excited to work with kids.

Our goal with CYBL is bigger than simply adding more players. We want to continue improving the quality of instruction, coaching, and the overall experience for Coast youth as the league grows.
