Sleeping Tips for Better ZZZ's
Sleep is the foundation of well-being, yet many struggle to get quality rest.
Here are 6 tips to enhance your sleep routine:
1. Sleep in a cool and dark environment: Create the right environment to signal your body to rest. Darkness and temperature between 68-72 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Watch your evening meals: Avoid heavy foods close to bedtime to promote better digestion and sleep quality.
3. Move your body during the day: Movement can help your body feel tired and enhance your sleep.
4. Invest in cozy bedding: Comfortable sheets and pillows can help your sleep experience.
5. Let go of overthinking: if something pops into your head while in bed, use the pen and paper to write it down and get it out of your head. It will be there tomorrow for safe keeping.
6. Stick to a sleep schedule: Consistent wake-up and bedtimes help regulate your body clock.
