Planning out meals for a family of 4 when everyone is home can be challenging but doesn’t have to be!
✅My main tips:
- 📝write down a grocery shopping list before shopping. I like to think of the meals that I’d like to have and ask my family what they in a mood for, then I write down ingredients I need for a week.
- 👨🏻🍳bulk prep. I prefer to cook proteins, e.g. meat, fish and tofu in bulk so I can mix and match and have variety of meals. For example, salad with chicken or chicken tacos or chicken stir fry. I also cook rice or buckwheat in bulk.
- 👨🌾sign up for local farmers CSA so you get box of seasonal vegetables every week. Late spring season veggies can be eaten raw or steamed and doesn’t require whole lot of cooking.
- 🫶get your family involved in cooking. Let your kids to wash fruits and veggies and do other activities as age appropriate.
- 💃🏻have fun with it! Cooking should be an enjoyable process. Turn on your favorite music and sing and dance while you at it!

Dear Monday!
Today, I’m starting my week by doing things that will bring me closer to my goals, that will bring me joy, energy and excitement!
👉 Things to put on a calendar:
* Non-negotiable: like work, kids school/activities;
* Social gatherings/dates with you partner
* Appointments (doc, massage, spa, etc);
* Mental care (meditation, journaling, etc);
* Physical care (workouts, outdoor activity)
* Home responsibilities.
I want to stress attention in scheduling mental and physical care. It should be scheduled and treated with just as much importance as other things.

Why exercise important in our daily life?
- Good for mental health: reduce stress, make you feel happy due to endorphins
- Good for the heart;
- For some disease prevention or relief of symptoms (like diabetes, copd, etc)
- Weight loss;
- Build strength;
List goes on.

Good morning starts with a cup of green tea 🍵 for me today. Let’s talk about some step you can take today to get to your health goals.
🔹It can be as simple as water first thing in the morning - dehydration can cause you feel tired and also cravings.
✔️Organization! Organize your fridge, your pantry, kitchen, your whole house. This is my project for next couple weeks or months 🤭 Organized house leads to focused mind, leads to better decisions.
➡️ It doesn’t have to be perfect, just stick to one thing you want to improve and keep doing it.

What stops you from getting the results you want?
What stops you from attaining your goals?
One very important thing - CONSISTENCY?
Yesterday you were all motivated and did your workout, ate your veggies, skipped on junk.
And maybe today you woke up tired and decide to reach for that [junk piece of] for breakfast, skipped your workout, skipped your meditation, etc.
Following consistent daily routine, even when you don’t feel motivated will result in success and achieving your goals.
Sure, slips happen, but don’t let long time go by, get right back at your routine and your goals!

My first CSA basket from the local farm !
Have you tried CSA before? I’m so excited to have fresh veggies, fruits and berries delivered every week close to my house! I can’t believe I haven’t done these before! And even the recipe is included. Highly recommend to !
