I attended your Dojo at Pine Brook Park, when I under 10. Dr. Morris gave me my test for an orange belt. I had stiches in my foot at the time and had a nosebleed from sparing...lol I am going to see if I can budget to return. We teach the traditional style of Sh*to-Ryu which is one of the four major styles of Japanese karate in the world. Along with karate, we also teach Kobudo, the ancient art of Okinawan weapons.

Did you know that we are now offering Kids Capoeira classes as well as Kids and Adult Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Adult Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is taught by Master Wagner Moraes. Master Wagner is a 2nd black belt and has been practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for over 30 years. He has an extensive competition record and has trained and taught all over the world.

Our kids Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu class as well as Capoeira is taught by Mr Humberto Passos. Humberto was born and raised in Brazil and has been practicing Capoeira for over 25 years. He has also been training BJJ for many years and is currently a Brown Belt.

Classes are Monday, Wednesday, & Friday. Capoeira is at 5:30, Kids Jiu-Jitsu is at 6:30, and Adult Jiu-Jitsu is at 8.

Stop by and give it a try. You won’t be sorry.

Congratulations to our Jiu-Jitsu team for their awesome performance at the Miami Open. There was a lot of good competition there but they fought hard and made us all proud. Every member of the team medaled and they are bringing home 5 golds, 5 silvers, and 2 bronzes. Way to go!!!

ATTENTION!!! We are excited to announce that we are now offering kids Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes. But wait, there’s more!! We are also excited to say that we are also starting a Kids Capoeira program. Both of these will be taught by Mr Humberto Passos.

“Mr H” was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where he was introduced to Capoeira and trained for a couple of years in his youth. Knowing the importance of education, he decided to take a break of his passion to conclude his accounting career. After he graduated as an Accountant in 1996, he returned to his Capoeira training, aiming to become a “Mestre". He came to the United States of America, in 1998 and moved to Naples. he gave continuation to his capoeira training to improve his moves, techniques and skills. In 2007, he was invited by Mestre Ray to join his crew at Oficina da Capoeira and he started to teach Capoeira to a group of children and adults in the area. He, then, relocated to Fort Myers and continued to share his love for Capoeira with the community.

Humberto has also been training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for many years and is currently a Brown Belt.

Classes are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Capoeira is from 5:30pm-6:30pm and Jiu-Jitsu is from 6:30pm-7:30pm.
