school looks a little different today trading textbooks for real life quests

we have been soaking up life these last few months, Hudson is still cruising along his 3rd grade curriculum and Amelia has started her kindergarten material. Amelia is very excited to finally be in her workbooks and learns eagerly! we also celebrated Hudsons birthday and conquered the bounce house. both kids got signed up for baseball this summer. Our schedule will be very busy between school, baseball, gymnastics, and VBS...but we are totally here for it and loving all the memories being made.

spring break is over and we are back to the grind. good bye second grade and hello third.

so proud of my son, he finished up his second grade curriculum today. he completed his 2nd grade curriculum in 115 school days. he does book work 4 days a week and goes to forest school one day. we will be on spring break next week then back to the grind of 3rd grade,65 days left in the school year.

realized I havent posted in this account in a long time, we have since closed our store, but we are still steady homeschooling and immersed in our own family. with the long winter still blazing on we got a walking pad to get 30 mins of movement in a day. the kids are loving using the walking pad. and so am I!

cut my bacon soap this morning. they turned out so cute!

made some bacon soap today. hopefully when it cures more the bacon smell will be less pungent and smell more like the oils I added.

the kids also tried coconut today and I wish I would have gotten a video of their reaction. they said its disguesting but had fun smashing it open.

made a crockpot barria taco tonight from pinterest turned out pretty good!

tried my hand at some sourdough cereal today, neither of the kids like it 😂😂. the second batch I added more cinnamon sugar to the top and my son did say it tasted better. so cheers to trying better next time.
