🤍♥️⚡Another hand lettered Big Rig! This bad Peterbilt got STRUCK BY LIGHTNING while truckin' down the highway a year ago! The lighting strike COOKED the brakes and toasted damn near all the electrical. Andy said it was during a wild strom in the middle of the night and BAM, woke up surfin the ditch with no hearing and no brakes! Rolled back up on the highway and was able to ride it on home downshifting to stop. WILD! Thanks !

Nothing beats the luster of 23 Karat genuine gold leaf! Simple, clean, and strong. Another gilded sign for a great client of mine, Aaron Baker of Baker McClure Law. A few months ago, I got an email asking if I would revisit a Triple Eyed Tiger cutout design that I did 9 years ago for a solo gallery that I did. It would be an anniversary gift to her husband who loved that cutout back in 2016. That was an instant HELL YES for me, and here is the Triple Eyed Tiger I did for them in my current color pallet. I'm so pumped on this one! Really love the soft and subtle colors paired with the aggressive nature and sharp whiskers of the tiger(s).

I LOVE looking at old halfway faded hand lettered signs and being able to see brush stroke by brush stroke how the sign painter moved along letter by letter, brush stroke by brush stroke. It's so damn FASCINATING! Really been hittin it hard on these "patina'd" signs over the last month. Especially these prohibition ones 😁. Here's one I just finished for my bud and shipped it off to him in Springfield, IL! 🍻🥂🥂🥂

It's crazy cold here now (2° this morning 🥶), so that means it's indoor mural work time! Painted this "aged" sign in the basement gym of this turn of the century old Post Office building which is now Baker McClure Law office in Van Wert, OH. This basement gym was legit, a Fallout Shelter! Check out the old original sign next to the front door on the outside of the building! Thanks again Aaron Baker! They all start with pencil to paper.
