You know it’s HOT when it’s shorts day at practice!

The heat didn’t slow these girls down! They battled through and put in some great work on defense. Communication is key on the field, so we spent time working on drills that challenged them to talk, trust each other, and make plays together. They kept pushing, learning, and getting better with every rep!

So proud of the effort and toughness this group continues to show. We’re excited for the future with these girls! 💙🧡🥎

We had our first Red, White & Blue intrasquad scrimmage this weekend and ended it with a fun game of Tic-Tac-Toe!

It’s more than just a game, it helps our players think on their feet, adjust quickly, and make decisions when Plan A doesn’t go as expected. Just like softball, sometimes the play isn’t there, and you have to make an adjustment and complete the play!

There’s something different about a team that’s willing to practice when nobody else wants to.

Tonight, the rain came down and the girls went to work. Base running (sliding practice), defensive reps and even offensive reps, these girls got to it!

Anybody can practice when the weather is perfect. We want the kind of team that shows up when it isn’t only perfect!

These girls put in the WORK today! 🥎🔥

High-intensity practice with a ton of reps, nonstop effort, and plenty of opportunities to get better. The energy was up, the pace was fast, and they kept competing to get better!

What a great way to kick off the season! Tonight was our FINS meet the team night and it was awesome to see how quickly the girls clicked. Safe to say practices will not be very quiet! It’s easy to see that this is going to be a special group.

We’re excited to get things started next week and watch these girls grow, compete, and make memories!

What an incredible week for FINS Softball!🧡💙🥎

We want to extend a massive THANK YOU to every player and family who came out to our 9U tryouts. We were truly humbled and blown away by the response.

29 amazing young athletes showed up, competed, and gave us everything they had. It takes courage to step onto the field, and we are so grateful for the effort, heart, and determination each girl showed.

As we go into the next few days with some difficult decisions, we wish we could field 29 on the team!

Thank you for believing in what FINS stands for. No matter where each player’s journey leads, we pray this season is filled with growth, confidence, friendship, and a love for the game.

We appreciate each and every one of you. God is good!
