Blessed to win my first ever team roping today. Wouldn’t want to spend my labor weekend anywhere else!!

It’s such an honor to represent the legendary name and to do it with the best group of athletes!!

A few weeks ago I competed at the Texas High School Rodeo Queen Pageant in Gonzales Texas. I had an absolute blast hanging out with all the girls and learned so much! We competed in horsemanship, modeling, personal interview, speech, and took a junior high practice written test. Even Donald Trump approved of my red white and blue outfit💙

We came back home and waited 2 weeks for the Texas High School State Finals for them to announce the winner and to take our written test. I was a nervous wreck all the way to Abilene Texas.

For weeks and weeks I worked my tail off for this competition. Unfortunately, I didn’t win but I learned so much. I wanted to share one thing I took away from this. I didn’t qualify for state in an event this year so I knew before the competition that if I wanted to spend a week in Abilene with all my friends, I had to win. I worked so hard that I forget the whole reason behind why I wanted to do this competition. I wanted to do it for me. I was not trying to prove to anyone but myself that I have come so far from crying on stage because I had to say a speech. I say all this to say that no matter the outcome remember the reason why you decided to do something, whether it be playing a sport or competing in a rodeo queen pageant.

I would like to say a huge thank you to , and Mrs. Charmaine. Y’all have helped me so much and I have learned so much from y’all over the years. Thank you for helping me get ready for this competition and for always being there for me. Y’all mean the absolute world to me and I wouldn’t be where I’m at today without y’all❤️ And thank you to my parents, y’all will never know how much I appreciate you and everything you do for me🤍

Congratulations for being crowned Miss THSRA! Best of luck at Nationals. Make Texas Proud!! Great job to all the contestants, y’all did amazing🥰. Special thanks to the committee, judges, and everyone that puts in tons of hard work for us to get the privilege of competing at such great competitions!
