Last week we had 4 more students from PBC start lessons in our Make a Splash program. That gives us a tital of 8 now.
Make a Splash is a national initiative of USA Swimming to teach inner city economically disadvantaged kids to swim.
Donations are tax deductable and most welcome . Contact me or mail your check to FAST.
SwimAmerica Fort Worth has started to accept students from the Panther Boys Club for swim lessons. We had 4 start this week. It is a great feeling to help someone accomplish something they would not have accomplished without your help.
Our efforts to raise money so these deserving children can learn to swim is most gratifying.

How do I know if my child needs swim lessons?
School age children need swim lessons to learn to swim on top of the water. Underwater swimming cannot save their lives! Children tire quickly underwater and trying to sustain underwater swimming may even cause drowning. Learning a good freestyle stroke with proper air exchange will help your child build confidence in the water amd may ultimately save their life.
