At SODC, we are proud to have a staff that is Youth Protection Association for Dance (YPAD) Certified. Every member of our team completes YPAD training, passes background checks, is CPR certified, and has completed Darkness to Light’s Stewards of Children program.

We invest countless hours into training our staff because we believe every dancer deserves a safe, supportive, and positive environment to learn and grow.

Thank you for trusting us with your dancers—we can’t wait to see them shine on stage next weekend!

👉 Check the “Recital Weekend Schedule & Order” on our website for your dancer’s recital + arrival time.

🎭 Quick Reminders:
• Arrive on time, dressed & ready (bun + makeup)
• No jewelry, nail polish, or undergarments under costumes
• Dancers may only have water in costume

🎬 Recital Format:
• 3 Acts with short intermissions
• Dancers check in before their act (see schedule)

👨‍👩‍👧 Family Notes:
• 1 parent/guardian for pickup & dressing room
• Stay for the full recital to support all dancers 💙
