Throughout his incredible career Vermiculus aka “Bug” owned by Jacqueline Mars proved time and time again that heart matters more than size. The cheeky Anglo Arab with the underdog spirit carried Lauren Nicholson Eventing through more than a decade of unforgettable moments. From winning the CCI5*-L National Championship at Kentucky, to representing Team USA at the FEI World Championships in Pratoni, and helping secure a qualification to the 2024 Paris Olympics, their partnership was nothing short of unforgettable.
Bug leaves behind one of the biggest legacies in the sport. A true fan favorite, an undeniable competitor, and proof that grit and heart can take you anywhere. Happy retirement, Bug 🤍
