It has been a busy 2022 Outdoor Season. The season ended on a good note. Our team was'nt as big as usual but i would take quality over quantity anyday.Makenzie Flaugher finished at Junior Olympics in 14th out of 75 in triple jump.Although she didn't make the stage at Junior Olympics as an All American. She is still an All American in our books. Prior to competing at Junior Olympics, she competed at TAAF State Games of America in Des Moines, IA and placed 1st in Triple jump. Prior to that she competed at Summer Games of Texas for TAAF where she took 3rd in Triple jump and 5th in Long jump with a PR of 17"8 1/2.
Nevertheless coming off injury we have yet another All American Marissa Wiles once she gets mentally, physically and emotionally sound. She competed at TAAF Regionals and qualified for State in LJ.
Julian Steed an up and coming sprinter and long Jumper due to vacation and schedule conflict he was unable to compete , but I know with my everything he would've done well. He is very competitive and eager to learn. An All American in the making.
Rounding off the 2022 outdoor team is 2 veterans Kyler and Kenzie. They did not compete this year. But they are also All Americans in our books.Kyler is working on converting from mid distance to sprints whereas Kenzie just does her when she wants. Kenzie first year to compete in school will be awesome.
Great work team keep believing in the process. Training may be awkward sometimes but it's all for the betterment of you all as athletes. Train hard or go home.
