Exercise was never an issue for Liaโฆ
But postpartum life hit her hard, leaving her juggling the challenges of motherhood and a demanding full-time job.
Despite a strong background with fitness and nutrition, she was struggling trying to find structure and balance as a new mom.
Oftentimes overwhelmed with mom guilt, feeling like she wasnโt keeping up with all areas of her life.

I waited too long.
After having Colten, I kept putting off my personal health & fitness journey.

Iโll focus on that โNext monthโ โฃ

And โNext Monthโ turned into another month.
And another.โฃ

The perfect postpartum workout program that I was supposed to write for myself, did not get finished.

Ironically, I fell into the same trap that I always talk about. I thought that I could do it all. I thought that I could manage my new baby, my family, the house, my job AND my fitness goals.
But I just did not have the capacity. It took me a while to admit that.

Would I rather sit at my desk and drink an entire pot of coffee all day? Absolutely.
But instead I drink water.
So what are the benefits of drinking more H2O?

โช๏ธhelps with water retention (typically the more you drink the less your body holds on to)

Itโs recommended to drink AT LEAST half of your body weight in ounces. So if you weigh 160lbs, you should be drinking 80oz of water daily. But increase your intake gradually!
What are the signs you may be dehydrated? Dry mouth, excessive thirst, dry skin, muscle cramps, decreased urine output, irritability, headaches, and darker yellow-colored urine.
Tips for increasing your water intake:

Drink 20-30oz of water first thing in the morning

Spread out your water consumption throughout the day and in between meals

Carry a big water bottle with you everywhere and keep one at your desk

Use flavorings like BCAAs, herbal infusions, add fruit, or crystal light/mio flavorings

Drink tea
