We have a national champion in the academy! Big congrats to Bianca and her teammates who won the JTT 14 and under national championship intermediate level in San Antonio a few weeks ago. Also a big thank you to Bianca’s dad Todd for volunteering as captain and Christina Allen for putting this team any many more teams together who represented Texas all year in JTT. 🏆👍👏👊🙌🎾

Another one! Congrats to Margaret who beat 4 opponents including the #2, #4 and #5 seeds without losing a set on her way to her third final in her last 4 sanctioned tournaments. SCMZ G16s A draw Abilene finalist. 🏅 👏👍👊🙌🎾

As our academy kids get ready to compete across Texas weekend here’s a reminder of the attitude we try to implement. Emma received the sportsmanship award at last weekends L2 national tournament in Spring Texas. Finishing 4th was nice too (she will tell you different) but winning or losing we always tell the kids that we expect them to compete with integrity and the highest sportsmanship values possible. This is the academy’s 2nd sportsmanship award this year, great job to all our coaches delivering the message and to the kids for representing those messages on the court! 🎾👊🙌🏆
