Congratulations to TCU Theta Alumna Kelly Crowell Goehl, pledge class 1990, for being inducted into the 2017 TCU Lettermen's Association Hall of Fame.

Kelly was an NCAA All-American in Diving in 1993. She qualified for the NCAA Championships three consecutive years from 1991-93. Kelly was named a Southwest Conference Scholar-Athlete and still holds TCU diving records. She was named the TCU Female Athlete of the Year in 1991-92 and earned the award for TCU Athlete of the Year in 1992-93. She was a four-year letterwinner, as well as team captain and team MVP in 1994.

Kelly is one of six members being inducted into the Letterman's Club as part of this week's Homecoming festivities, which includes a formal banquet this evening in the BLUU.

Congrats Kelly and much Theta Love to you!

Our thoughts are with our TCU Theta members and alumnae in the Houston area. Any Theta who is in financial need due to Harvey may be nominated for the Friendship Fund.

"The Friendship Fund provides gifts to Thetas experiencing extreme financial hardship due to serious or terminal illness, job loss, natural disaster, and other devastating occurrences. One very important aspect of the Fund is the secrecy surrounding the giving of gifts."

What a beautiful morning for a 5K. Many thanks to the officers and committee who helped create a wonderful event!

I am beyond excited to announce that Elaine Frontain Bryant, Gamma Psi alumna, has won an Emmy for her work as Executive Producer on "Born This Way," an A&E series that follows the lives of young adults living with Down Syndrome. Elaine currently serves as Head of Programming for A&E and lives in the NYC area.

‘Born This Way’ completely deserves its unstructured reality show Emmy “Born This Way” is the rare reality show that features characters who are neither petty nor inane and that has a greater purpose than keeping up with the Kardashians

Want to support the chapter AND two great causes? Register for the 20th Annual TCU Theta 5K Breakaway. If you live in the DFW area you are encouraged to run/walk the event with fellow Thetas (I know quite a few 80s and 90s Thetas that will be there!). If you are out of the area you may register as a "virtual runner" which shows your support of the event without having to show up.

This year's event will be during Parents Weekend/Homecoming on Sunday, Sept 18th at 8:30am.
