836 Technologies

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our newest 836 Team Member, Mark Nystrom. Mark joined our assembly team in April of this year. Although Mark was relatively new to our team, he excelled quickly. He had extensive experience in electronics and was a former police officer in Virginia. His exeperience shined through in all of his work, and his work ethic was impeccable. Mark fit in great with everyone, and he leaves a large gap behind. We were honored to work along side him and to call him a member of the 836 Family.

We are currently in Penticton, BC attending the North American Wildlife Enforcement Officer's Association Conference, and we have had the pleasure of meeting with have met with many US and Canadian wildlife enforcement officers.

Good morning Cape Cod! 836 is attending the New England Crisis Negotiator's Assocuation Conference in Hyannis, MA. The famed Brian Tison and Doug Burgess are representing 836! Unfortunately, FedEx is holding our equipment hostage... it was supposed to be delivered to the hotel last week and still hasn't shown up... This is day two of the conference and still no equipment. Please stop by and say hi to Brian and Doug. They have a host of jokes and card tricks to share (since there is currently no equipment to see).

836 is at the Western States Hostage Negotiator's Conference in Boise, Idaho. We have seen several of our friends and customers already. If you are here please stop by and say hello. Also, congratulations to Missoula PD who competed here at the WSHNA negotiator competition yesterday. They scored 2nd place running their CINT Commander II!

836 is currently attending the LAAD Show is Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Our friends at Burnsville PD in Minnesota could use your prayers. Pat, Roy, and Steve attended our training in Missoula in February of 2023. Their department is currently involved in an active barricade where two of their officers have been killed and a third wounded. A paramedic has also been killed. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
