Hello y’all, hope you are enjoying last few weeks of summer! We are having our biweekly Refugee Health Clinic this Saturday, 9:30-1:00, at the Fountains Apartment. As usual, we will go to the refugees’ apartment and provide them basic health screening. This is a great opportunity to recall all of the PE skills that have been rusted after all of funs of summer and also give a hand to our community. You also get to meet awesome people including physicians, PA, volunteers, … I am working to get the clinic approved for 3.5 hours Clinmed for the Fall 2019 but it is very likely to be approved. You will be able to clear some of the clinmed hours even before the semester begin. If you have any questions, please let us know!!
So enough talk from me, click the link and join the clinic!!!

Happy Observance National Refugee Day!! 6/20 of each year is selected by the United Nation Refugee Agency to raise awareness of the situation of refugees throughout the world. It is commemorated to draw the public's attention to the millions of refugees and internally displaced persons worldwide who have been forced to flee their homes due to war, conflict and persecution. As a member of Refugee Health Initiative, I feel honored and excited to work with y’all to improve the lives of refugees in the Fort Worth Community. In the upcoming semester, RHI has partnered with other refugees organizations in Fort Worth to bring our clinic to different refugee communities. We are also working hard to get more fund to expand the activities of clinic such as vaccination program for the refugees … It is gonna be an exciting semester for us all!!!!!!!
