Tap Root Equestrian Program would like to thank Pamela Lunny for all her hard work for this, and prior show seasons. Pamela has been with us since 2021 and since that time, she has tirelessly grown our hunter/jumper program and we are grateful for her dedication to our riders and horses. We congratulate Pamela and all of her riders for a successful 2024 MTHJA and Silent Run Show Series Season. We look forward to 2025 and a band of new students joining Sophia, Kahlan, Gracie and Harper in the big ring.

We would also like to congratulate Pamela and her horse Silver Lining aka Cairo for a successful show season. Silver Lining was Reserve Champion Low Hunter Overall for the Silent Run Show Series. Cairo is a 7-year-old Thoroughbred, who came to us in 2022 with a bit of a troubled past. Time, love, patience, and discipline have made all the difference for the sweet gelding. Here’s to 2025 and we wish Pamela and Cairo all the success as they move up a division.

Gracie Harmon & Southern Belle – MTHJA Sixth Equitation Short Stirrup Division and Fifth 11 & Under Equitation Division.

We would like to congratulate Gracie and her mount Southern Belle, known in the barn as Bella. Gracie and Bella became a team at the very end of the 2023 show season after Bella had a c**t the prior year. Gracie worked tirelessly this show season to take this speedy barrel racer and turn her into a great short stirrup and equitation ride. We are so thankful for all the time and effort the Harmon family invested in Bella, who has a new rider this coming show season. We are excited and look forward to watching Gracie on her very own horse Escudo’s Dream aka Eskimo. He is known the in the barn as Eski and is a 10-year-old Hanoverian gelding coming to us from west coast late last year. His is just the sweetest boy! Bring on 2025! Congrats G!

Harper Barnett & Touch of Class – MTHJA Fourth Equitation and Fifth Hunter in the Short Stirrup Division. Silent Run Show Series – Fourth Overall Short Stirrup Division.

We would like to congratulate Harper and her mount Touch of Class, known in the barn as Classy aka Classy Elizabeth or Regina George. Classy is a 7-year-old Appendix mare who has quite the personality. Harper and Classy have been together for 2 years and we have been so blessed to watch their amazing growth during this time. From learning to canter, to navigating jumps, to a very successful 2024 show season. We are excited to see these two move up to the Pre-Children’s Division in 2025. Best of Luck Harps!!

Kahlan Ekleberry & American Honey/Silver Lining – MTHJA Sixth 12-14 Equitation Division. Silent Run Show Series – Fourth Overall Pre-Children’s Hunter Division.

We would like to congratulate Kahlan and her varied mounts this year for a successful 2024 show season. Kahlan is the definition of grit and determination. She navigated riding several horses this year as well as moving up into the Pre-Children’s and 12-14 Equitation Divisions. As we celebrate Kahlan and her success this year, we look forward to 2025 with her very own horse Smooth Criminal (Moose). Moose is a 6-year-old Thoroughbred who came to us from the Northeast, who Kahlan is bringing along so very nicely. We are so excited to see where this year takes you two! Congrats K!
