And that is a WRAP!
Starting off in the frigid cold and ending in the beautiful, crisp fall weather, you all tackled distances from the 5k to the half marathon. It’s been awe-inspiring to witness everyone’s progress over these past couple of months.
To all of our volunteers, we could not have done this without you. You make these races possible. You get up early, you stay after — you are the real MVPs.
To our racers, thank you for believing in us in our inaugural season! Early on, James and I commented that we would’ve been happy with 20-30 people per race. A few of our races had almost 100 people sign up! Amazing for our first season! You all made that possible!
And to our fearless Race Director, Jimm. You saw a hole that needed to be filled in this community and stepped up. “If you build it, they will come—“ and build it you did. From countless course revisions, to (so many) sleepless nights, hundreds of hours on the trails, you are incredible and it was amazing seeing you bring this passion project to life.
