Schedule for this evening:
6pm: 1600m ( only 2 heats)
6:20pm(ish): 100m kids race
6:25pm: 400m ( 3 heats)
6:45pm(ish): Distance relay medley
800m, 400m, 200m, 200m

Our next trail race in the series is a 10k around the quarry. There will be some decent elevation gain but always a well-marked course.

I’m not sure anyone expected a heat wave to occur during the Fallen Heroes 5 Miler! 🥵
Despite the brutal conditions, we had a phenomenal turn out and some serious grit on the course. The overall sentiment of the runners seemed to be just to finish the race.
Happy 4th of July to all and cheers to America turning 250! 🇺🇸

We will still have our group run tomorrow at 7:00 am. Those who are not attending the Fallen Heroes 5 miler can meet up for a 3 or 6 mile route. We meet across from Hyperion Espresso and we strongly encourage runners to bring hydration- it is gonna be a scorcher!
