It’s not just riding on trails, it’s also making trails. After an exhausting day at the races a few FredComp riders and coaches lopped roots and reached trails at Crow’s Nest Natural Area in Stafford.

And that folks brings us to the end of the 2026 spring Fredericksburg Composite season. With the last VAHS race this Saturday, we move from team practices to only weekly summer rides.

Huge congratulations and thank you to everyone who has made this season possible, we couldn't have done anything with everyone working alongside each other

We wish all of our seniors a farewell as they graduate from high school and move on to bigger and better things while unfortunately leaving Fred Comp as student athletes. But some hopefully returning as coaches 🙌

Despite some rainy weather, Fred Comp came out in persevered through Stokesville. Way to go to all of our amazing racers, sweeps, coaches, and even the non-racers that still showed up to represent 🔥

Great day as Western Albemarle High School for the first race in the 2026 VAHS series.
