T shirt memory/memorial quilts; pieced quilts; not-quite-so pieced quilts. Small throw quilts; twin size quilts, any ideas welcome! I'm kind of a fabric junkie.

For the first year quilt, the Mom wanted funky and bohemian, but incorporating some of their tshirts. I wanted to do a double sided quilt so I could really focus on accomplishing both. I drew the stars into both sides so that it would still be a fluid transition. I picked some bright colors and made the stars and pinwheels 'wonky' and imperfect for the bohemian feel :)

I don't have a king sized bed nor king sized pillows, so the quilt looks kinda rumpled and ill fitting on this queen sized bed, but it is a King sized bed quilt and two king sized pillow shams. My first king size!

Sorry for the lack of great pics of the finished product of the large one. I don't know why I never snapped a pic of the whole thing, but you get the gist :) I made a large throw quilt and a baby starburst quilt.

This duo was made for a family with a son and daughter. Incorporating men's blue and golds tshirts into a baby quilt is not a very easy task! However, I adore the sailboat design on the boys quilt and the navy starbursts helped the shirts transition nicely into the baby girl's quilt :)

Another quilt top that was sewn by my great grandmother and never quilted. So I got to finish this bad boy up as a gift for my bro :) The backing is a Dukes of Hazard sheet--a personal touch just for my brother :) Quilted with stars and swirls.
