Reminder that tryouts for next year's 8U and 9U teams will be Tuesday July 22nd at 6pm. They will be held at the Freeland Little League fields and please use the link below to sign your player up!

Our 8U Firehawks competed in their first tournament of the season this past weekend in Shepherd. The boys competed hard and got better and better as the weekend went on!

The Rose Built LLC MVP game ball for the weekend went to Keegan Kennedy. Keegan was a beast behind the plate playing the catcher position. He has put in a lot of extra work and it showed this weekend! Keegan stopped many balls from going to the backstop and kept multiple runners from stealing bases. Great job Keegan and keep working hard!

Our 8U Firehawks competed in their first tournament of the season this past weekend in Shepherd. The boys competed hard and got better and better as the weekend went on!

We gave out 2 game balls for our Braun Kendrick Finkbeiner Teammate award. We had Charlie Burkhart and Pace Myers join us for the weekend because we were missing 3 boys. Charlie and Pace did so much for our team and set great examples for the 8U boys. Both of these kids pitched awesome and made multiple great plays defensively.

Pace batted .667 with 4 hits and 2 runs scored while Charlie batted .833 with 5 hits and a run scored. These two boys are great ball players and we were happy to have them for the weekend!

The Cole Veterinary Hospital GRIT game ball for the weekend goes to Jake Puskar! Jake has been working hard at his game all winter and he had a nice opening tournament! He is always ready to go on defense and letting his teammates know where to go with the ball. Jake batted a solid .500 with 3 hits on the weekend. Great job #8!
