Established 2002
Central Valley Water Polo is an organization made up of dedicated volunteers committed to creating the largest and most prestigious Water Polo Club in the Central Valley of California. CVWP provides programs that promote the progression of age group athletes to senior age and master age athletes. CVWP gives back to the sport of water polo by promoting the development of age group coaches and officials.

Every once in a while, at the end of the night, at that point when everyone is tired and ready to call it a night; you might hear someone call out, “first to five - Laure’ Gross.” We lost Laure’ in 2020 but despite being the oldest guy in the pool, he always wanted to keep playing. When everyone was ready to quit, he would yell out “first to five”. Now you know.
