Some people thoughts I wanted to share in a world full of “experts.”
In this tech, info, and AI driven world, people can easily click a button and create something out of random commands.
Stay vigilant! Be choosy! And don’t take advice from people who haven’t reach the destination they teach others to reach.

The world can feel scary and our kids are often carrying more fear than they know how to express 🌎
In this episode, I sit down with Courtney Reissig Courtney Reissig to talk about how we can help our children process fear, ask hard questions, and trust God even when we don’t have all the answers.

As parents, we all want to protect our kids—but how do we teach them about body boundaries without making them afraid?
In this week’s episode of Parenting IQ, I’m joined by Sara Ernst Sara Ernst for an incredibly practical conversation about helping children recognize tricky situations, trust their instincts, and use their voice with confidence.
If you’ve ever wondered when to start these conversations or how to have them, this episode is for you. ❤️

I’m a 3rd generation teacher. My grandmother was my first grade teacher, my mom taught me English in 4th grade, and then I had the incredible privilege of teaching some amazing high schoolers for 6 years.
I went on to graduate school and got a PhD in k-16, and now I homeschool my kids.
I love education! I love kids! I love watching all my previous students now getting married— even attending some of their weddings! I love seeing kids flourish, despite hard challenges like my own kids have of dyslexia and ADHD!
There’s something special about human development that’s uniquely precious during childhood.
Kids are curious, creative, and passionate. And as adults, we have to slow down enough to savor all of that.
This academic year, my hearts go out to all the teachers who continue to show up for the kids they love. I pray for the parents who are advocating for what’s best for their kids. And I want to high five every kid that’s entering a new grade year.
There truly is no one-size-fits-all education. And the best way to educate is unique to each family.
These are just some of my heartfelt, raw thoughts after our first day of homeschooling and as all educators/students go back to school.
Have the bestest year, everybody! 🖤
