Redline Baseball Club - O’Bryan

These 10 boys right here laid it all out in the field in our last 8u Kid pitch tournament of the season. We got rained out yesterday and didn’t get to play so we ended up with the 8 seed and had to start at 8:00 this morning. Couple that with 1:30 rain delay after our first game they won back to back games putting us in the semi finals. They were down 4-0 going into the last inning and fought back to win 5-4. They gave all they had in the ship and lost 3-2. These boys finished up the spring going 28-9-1 and we could not be prouder of them for the hard work and never say die attitudes they have played with all season.

I would like to say thank you to the Frisco Riders organization for taking a chance on this team. We loved our big brothers, wiffle ball games and our time spent together on our community service projects.

As some of you may already know we have made the choice to leave the Frisco Riders organizations and have joined Redline Baseball Club. This was not an easy decision, but it one that was thought out through many restless nights. We really do appreciate the opportunity that we were given by the Riders organization and we will finish out the spring season as the Riders then we will start our transition. We will be posting our Redline tryouts here in the next week or so. Thank you to everyone within the Riders organization for all of the help that last couple years as we could not have done it without you.

Man it’s hard to put into words how proud I am of this group of kiddos. They started working in January and they earned every minute they put in by winning the 8U AA championship tonight. We lost our first game of league play then won 11 straight to finish as CHAMPIONS tonight. Not all of them were easy, not all of them did we play our best but they competed every game and that’s all we can ask for. Thank you to all of our parent ls for allowing us coaches to be a part of your kiddos journey playing the best game there is. Now let’s finish the tournament season strong and get ready for kid pitch.
