Race recap from the 305 vs 602 challenge race at Can-Am.

With a pill draw to determine starting spots rolled off 5th in heat #2. I was a little impatient and tried for a hole at the bottom entering turn one on the second lap and it closed off. Stomped on the brakes trying to avoid contact but still cut down the right front tire and spun around. Did a 360 spin and noticed the flat so went to the pits finishing last in 10th place.

With the race being ran heads up for starting spots the bad luck in the heat forced me to start the feature in last place of the twenty car feature. With some good adjustments from the crew for the slick track conditions the car was a rocket at the start gaining 11 spots to get up to 9th when the red flag flew for a flipped car on lap 6. The tires sealed over a little under the red and it took some laps to get back up to a good pace. Gained two more spots to finish in 7th place.

Looking to take a couple weeks off to recharge before tearing the car down to prepare for the 2027 season.

Well we ran the final points night at Can-Am Speedway for the Panther Frameworx, Inc. Crate 602 Sprints. Just one more race next Thursday at Can-Am for the team and we are done for the year.

Started the heat in fifth place and was able to finish second securing a top 8 starting spot for the feature.

In the feature I started in the seventh spot and fell one spot to eighth on the start. As the race went on the car started getting better and better and I was able to advance forward. In yet another caution free race I was able to gain a couple more positions and finshed the race 4th.

Overall for the 16 races I had 14 top 10, 10 top 5 and finally broke into the winners circle on 5/15 to get my first Sprint car win.
Finished the season points battle in 3rd for another best in the sprint car division.

I would like to thank the crew for their tireless effort to keep me going.

Had another good night at Can-Am, started second in the heat and lead all 8 laps to pickup the win.
Rolled of second in the feature and again was able to get out front. After a couple mistakes and some lapped traffic second place Adam Turner was able to drive under me down the backstretch and pulled of the win by .164.

Have to thank the crew for all their hard work.

Had 32 cars tonight for the Action Sprint Tour race at Can-Am Speedway. The track had lots of grip and I timed fastest in hot laps.

Unfortunately a bad electronic pill draw placed me 7th in heat number one. With the track still having lots of grip I was only able to advance one spot and finished 6th missing the top 5 transfer.

Starting third in the B main I was able to pull off the win to get a 21st place start in the feature.

With some cautions I was able to drive up to the top five and after getting into fourth place a caution came out and set up a one lap shootout. I was battling for third but finished in fourth place. Overall happy with the outcome after having to start so far back.
Have to thank the crew for their hard work and never quit attitude. Driver was a little down after the heats but battled back to get a decent finish.

Congratulations to George Sanford on the win and keeping the huge Matco wrench to a track regular.
