Gahanna Middle School Robotics Competition Team

We love our Gahanna community! Thank you for the continued support as we raise funds to get our second HS team 43230B up and running and as we expand from 2 students to 8! My favorite interaction was meeting a neighbor down the street whose son is in elementary school and they said "Gahanna has robotics?!" They were so glad to hear that and can't wait to join the community.

Did you know that VEX Robotics is more than just building and coding? These high schoolers are developing so much more than that. The program is truly student-led and the most successful teams are well-rounded and have students with an interest in a variety of areas. I had the privilege of being a remote judge this year for the VEX Robotics Worlds competition across a variety of school levels and got to see impressive teams from across the world.

In addition to the engineering skills you'd expect, judged competitions evaluate the following areas:
1- Game Strategy
2- Creativity/Originality
3- Team and Project Management
4- Teamwork, Communication and Professionalism
5- Respect, Courtesy and Positivity

Wow, does that sound like someone that I'd like to hire!
