Stay with it. You will hit a wall. You will hit more than one wall. Find a way over, under, and through it. 💪🧡💪


Vacation: folks lose a week or 10 days and think “I’ve lost what I’ve gained” and never get back to it. Realize that’s part of the process and a part of enjoying life. When you come back…get back at it. Hint: use OTF at home workout while you’re away 🧡 or just block out some time for a walk.

Fatigue: There is a fine line between listening to your body and making excuses. Showing up to camp WILL wipe away your fatigue. This is where having an accountability partner (buddy comes into play).

Injury: Hopefully not. It happens. People blame their workout routine when reality is it’s just as likely to happen putting on your socks as it is picking up a weight. This is why our coaches talk about the 23:00 away from class Stretching, nutrition, and rest can help with prevention. Coaches can modify 99.99% of any movement to work around what’s hurting you…they can’t modify if you don’t show up.
Can’t run, walk. Can’t walk, bike. Can’t bike, lift weights. Apart from being in a coma, you can do something to keep moving.

Meal Prep is what happens on Sundays. Not a cook? Easy peasy healthy stuff with just a few ingredients and steps.

Cupcake Pans…not just for making the good stuff. You can use to meal prep breakfast, lunch and dinner all at once.

**Always Spray the muffin tins with non stick cooking spray!

Egg Cups:

1 egg in the cup pan
Pinch of any favorite omelet fixings
Cook at 350 for 15-20



1-2lbs of Favorite Ground Protein (including no meat)

1 medium onion

2 eggs (or mashed cauliflower, helps hold together).

**1/2 cup breadcrumbs or 1/3 cup almond flour. Too much almond flour will dry it out. This step isn’t necessary. Adds a little texture to it.

1 tbsp ground garlic

1 tsp salt

1 tsp pepper

**add spinach, kale, or mango (fantastic)

Bake at 375 for 20-25 boom


Grilling ain’t just a summer thing

Meat too expensive? Grab top sirloin (7.99-8.99/LB). Marinate for 24-48 (teriyaki or Worcestershire) in a ziplock freezer bag. Grill to internal 138 degrees.


Grab ya some bagged or box salads and or micro veggies and you have 3 squares for 4-5 days 👍👍

As we prepare to , let’s plan out the rest of our week based on advice from Dr. Brittany Masteller, Research Scientist at Orangetheory: “Attending OTF classes 3-4 times weekly can help you meet the recommended dose of moderate to vigorous physical activity for adults. Unstructured activity on rest days from the studio is encouraged and is still a key factor in meeting your goals.”
