Tourney supporters: We're just over a week away and the one thing I need right now is a few more golfers to round out a team or two (OR several more to form an entirely new team, hell). Anyway, if you're interested in playing or if you know some avid golfer(s) who'd like to play in a great event for a great cause, then please...GET ON IT! If it helps, the entry fee entitles golfers to golf, beer, bbq, beer, a pool party they can bring their families to, and, oh yeah, JELLO SHOTS!

Based on the evite responses I've been receiving, I think I can safely say that the Tourney BBQ is gonna be a RAGER...

We're starting the pool party a little earlier this year (Sunday, 9/4 @ 3:00), so bring the kids!

John Howard, one of John McLane's brother Jason's closest friends, survived non-Hodgkin's lymphoma when he was 11 years-old. He emailed me this morning to let me know that he'd solicited and secured donated gift certs from several Gainesville-area restaurants for me to use as tourney team prizes. He did all this without me even asking him to.
